Pre-Race: 30 Minutes Before Start

Equipment Check

  • Time Machine powered on

  • Battery level adequate (or external power connected)

  • Antenna cables connected securely

  • Antennas positioned correctly

  • Network cable connected to laptop

  • Laptop powered and RaceDay Scoring open

Time Machine Indicators

  • LCD shows network connected

  • LCD shows logging active

  • No error messages displayed

Test Tag Verification

  • Pass through timing line with test tag

  • Tag activity indicator flashes

  • Read appears in RaceDay Scoring

  • Timestamp is correct

RaceDay Scoring Check

  • Correct race selected

  • Stream status shows "Collecting"

  • Dashboard visible and accessible

Report Ready

  • Contact race control to confirm ready status

During Race

Continuous Monitoring

  • Dashboard visible at all times

  • Stream status remains "Collecting"

  • Read count increasing as participants cross

  • Time Machine tag activity with each crossing

Periodic Checks (every 10-15 minutes)

  • Test tag verification (during lulls)

  • Check Time Machine LCD for errors

  • Verify network connection stable
